Great little hotel in bham
Great hotel great location very helpful staff great breakfast menu, only two things let it down - speed of lifts you seem to wait for ages and the doors don’t close behind you when you leave the room

Not as good as it should be
The room was fine but the spa was disappointing and a bit run down.

Modern and well presented hotel, comfortable room.
This was our 2nd stay at the in indigo hotel. Our room was not as nice as our first stay but as always you get what you pay for. However, we had a very pleasant evening in the bar and a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very good, though it would have been better if all the duty staff had been willing to serve the guests as unfortunately only a couple of guys were actually doing any work. Overall a great place to stay for a day trip to Birmingham. We will likely be returning.

The only thing that let the hotel down was spa area as it was a little tired and the number of things to do wasn’t great. I wouldn’t call it a spa hotel. There was a small pool with only water feature (the same one twice, why 2 the same?) 2 saunas (why 2?) and the swimming pool area plus changing area was drab and in need of a make over. Apart from this the hotel was excellent

Strange and lacking in comfort
What a strange hotel. The entrance hall is basic and unwelcoming, the lifts to the bedroom floors (roooms are on 23rd and 24th floors) feels like something in a nightclub. The 25th floor is open to the public so lots of non-residents in the hotel. The front of house staff are unconvincing. Rooms are ok but unloved - a smashed tile on the bathroom floor. On the morning of departure the lifts had failed, and when eventually I fought my way to the reception floor the receptionist was oblivious. The gym is large but not a pleasant Spa. Overall there are better options in town.
