We arrived at the Inn rather late, caught up in the massive traffic after the plane crash at the Air-show Shoreham on A27. A welcome smile, and directions to a parking. Once at the Pub kitchen (about to close) had a vary tasty Fish & Chips, brought by sweet Nathalie with all the updates of the accident. The rooms have double windows, and are on the 3rd floor (extremely calm) and as well secured by electronic pass. Next day had a very nice and extensive breakfast. Before leaving, Nathalie found a moment to show us part of the interesting historic grounds of the most ancient Pub The Lamb Inn. We very much enjoyed and appreciated.

A great pub!
Spent a weekend here. The Lamb Inn is a beautiful old pub (the oldest and with most character for miles around) but the upstairs rooms have nine of this character. presumably having been "modernized" at some time. Moteover. the matress was uncomfortable. However. the landlady and staff were wonderful. I would find or drink at the Lamb Inn any day but I would probably stay somewhere else on a future visit.

Excellent value for money
This was a great little find especially as it was short notice. The room was excellent value, the food was amazing and the service was 2nd to none. As the food is all made on site nothing is too much, all the staff are friendly and will do anything they can and the value was superb especially as the tennis was on. It's walkable to the sea, albeit a long walk and this was nice after the really long drive. The bed is comfy and despite an issue the staff were straight there and fixed the issue. The manager seems to be always there and deserves credit for the way the staff work tirelessly. It's not perfect, nowhere is, but it's as good as you can get for a building with massive character and personality. The beer is also excellent and local which tops the trip nicely.
