Owner overbooks property and does not honor confirmed and pre-paid room types. Later refusing to reimburse for accommodations not provided. After check in owner knocked on our door to ask us to leave because they had another family checking in to our same room (a three bedroom flat). Owner allowed another family to walk in while our family was in the room, closed half of the unit to split the flat between the two families because that was the only solution she had. Our luggage still on the other side of the apartment unit. Beyond not receiving the product we paid for and the poor customer service, our family's safety was in jeopardy. Owner claimed she had cancelled reservation with Expedia, the fact is that cancellation never occurred, at least not communicated to us before arrival. Owner refuses to reimburse & Expedia claims they are advocating on our behalf yet unable to grant any reimbursement for the service/product not provided much less for the inconvenience. Never have we experience such a fiasco.
