Avoid at all costs - money pit
I booked this stay several hours in advance. Upon rendering payment, I received an email stating that I would have to call the property to arrange check in. Luckily I speak Spanish, and had a local SIM card. The phone rang and went to voicemail (in Spanish). There was no other way to contact the property, and nobody answered despite numerous more calls. I arrived and found the business locked, and nobody would answer the door. I later requested a refund since I had to book another hotel, and was denied. I ended up having to do a chargeback on my credit card.

Nice base to use when visiting the Alhambra
Lovely staff who made a great effort to please however checking in and payment was difficult as there was only one person could speak a little English Beautiful large clean 3 bedded suite with lovely fittings. The addition of a bottle of soap and a tea towel would have been a useful addition Set in a small pretty village but no bar or restaurant was open in October

Beautiful location close to Granada (10 km away)
The apartment-hotel is small (6 apartments), very modern and very clean The owner- Sergio - is very nice and helpful. You will have to call him 30 minutes before getting to the apartment, so he can have enough time to get there (he lives in Granada). His English is great, so you can ask him anything related Granada and surroundings and you will receive lots of information from him. The apartment - as I said - is very clean and modern. We were pleasantly surprised about the apartment and the location. Parking is 1 minute walk from the apartment, and 2 minutes close to it you also can find a bar, a grocery store and a bakery. Visnar is a small little town (about a 1000 people - where "everybody knows your name"), where you can have relaxing walks in the evening. The location of the apartments is great for visiting Granada, as it is a short drive to it. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment, and enjoyed our conversations with Sergio and some of the locals. We strongly recommend this hotel!!

20 mins drive to Granada. Locked on arrival.
Booked and needed reschedule, called hotel but couldn't speak a word of English, no email responses. Sorted that eventually. Turned up, it was locked no answer! The resident next door said I needed to arrange a time for someone to open it up, what's that about?! Asking Expedia for refund. 20 mins away from Granada as well, it's nowhere near and you'd have to be driving a car. Located down a small hill next to residential apartments, not even sure if it's a legitimate place to stay. I had two small children with me, weird behaviour.

El hotel lleva cerrado más de un año. No comprendo como Hoteles.com no comprueba el estado de los hoteles en los que permite reservar a través de ellos. El teléfono de contacto facilitado no existe y tienes que buscarte cómo solucionarlo con un teléfono que alguien puso en la puerta del hotel para informarte de que el hotel está cerrado.
