good hotel near Shinjuku station
The hotel is a short walk from Shinjuku station (6-8 min walk), we stayed for 4 nights. Room was small but twin beds and pillows were comfortable. Free WiFi and A/C were fine. Bathroom was small but had a good shower. The hotel provides in the lobby free amenities for the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was served in the basement. The food was entirely Japanese (we liked it), if you only like Western style breakfast you may be disappointed. The breakfast area is small and looks old and somewhat unkempt, could be improved. Only Japanese TV channels in the room. Overall a good hotel in the Nishi-Shinjuku area

Nice hotel
Staff was very helpful! Rooms were small, but typical size in Japan. Location was about a five minute walk from the Nishi-Shinjuku station; exit 2.

Quiet, clean and a good value.
Great place to stay. I had 2 nights booked here originally on a 10 day trip. Ended up staying 6 of 10 nights. This hotel has English speaking staff on duty all the time, is very nicely priced and has bigger than normal Japanese rooms. The location is about 15 min walk from Shinjuku Station on JR & the highway bus terminal is just beyond that. Lots of shopping and entertainment choices nearby. Quiet, clean and a good value. If you want to get into the Shinjuku nightlife area it's 15 mins away, close enough to be accessible if that's what you want, but far enough away to feel totally safe and peaceful if you don't. Big plus for the coin laundry on the 7th floor, it is super clean and does a great job if you don't want to pack dirty clothes. There are express trains to Narita from Shinjuku Station. I used this hotel as my base for climbing Mt Fuji. They were super accommodating to store my excess gear while I was gone. Wifi service was good.
