Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku, Tokyo
Very Good8.0
The room is pretty small. It was absolutely fine for us, as we were out all day, but there’s very little room for your cases and moving around. It’s right opposite the subway station and a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku.

Nice stay
Nice room - spacious for Japanese standards. Amenities provided in lobby, friendly staff, great location next to metro station and nearby large Shinjuku station. Great shopping nearby too. Coffee and pastry shop attached to hotel.

Good size, however, broken Air conditioning.
We were there for one last night in Tokyo for our honeymoon. I would say, overall, the staff seemed helpful early on, and the room was clean, and decent sized for a Tokyo room. However, the AC during the night stopped working, and the room practically turned into a sauna. In the morning, the staff came by and confirmed that the AC in the room was probably broken. The front desk staff then confirmed that her manager is aware of the situation, and will "fix the situation." However, I am not sure what she means by that, as we had to check out by that point, and they never reached out to me afterwards. Location wise, its a bit further away from Shinjuku station, and not much really thats in walking distance from the hotel. They didnt reach out to me as to how they were planning to fix it.

Ok hotel with good location on the Maranouchi line, but really rough bed made the stay not that great.

Friendly staff and decent size rooms
It is a good hotel to stay at. The rooms are decent size for Tokyo compared to other hotels. The staff is very friendly and always willing help. Location is good. There is a McDonalds across from the hotel, a 7 Eleven and Family Mart within steps from the hotel. And the train station is also very close to the hotel, just steps away. I am glad I chose Nishitetsu Inn and will definitely stay again in this hotel.
