Clean room and en suite, comfortable bed. Evening dinner busy on Friday and Saturday evenings but the food was tasty. Breakfast served promptly but not over generous in quantity so you may have to ask for more toast.

Room was spacious and clean, bed was reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately had an unpleasant smell in the room. I wouldn’t return here.

10/10 Exceptional

Having just spent 4 nights at The Fox and Hounds we can thoroughly recommend it. Firstly the room we had (no.5) was well decorated, very clean with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. The bathroom was very clean with a generous sized shower and plenty of towels. We had 4 evening meals and the food was lovely, home cooked with generous portions. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and really set us up for the day. My only hope is that they eventually become dog friendly accommodation and then we can return with our dog for another stay! Thanks very much for a wonderful break! 😀
