This bangkok trip was a birthday trip for my husband. Thought of giving him a surprise in this hotel, therefore i message the hotel 1month before our arrival hope that they could do something and staff there replied they will note down in the system. Upon arrival, i asked the staff who helped me to check in do my request in the system? Apparently from his face show was no nothing in the system. But he replied saying he will note it down and arrange. That moment i did not think too much as my trust to this hotel as a first timer was good and still got 2days to my husband birthday. After 2days of our arrival i check with the counter staff again was my request in the system already as i mention upon check in the staff had already note it down and will arrange. Again, the staff show on her face was a no, and she made a phone call to check. The answer i get was they don't have any information of my request and unable to give today. And asked me if they can give tomorrow which my husband birthday is over. The only thing i can answer them was do i have a choice? And saying about the hotel management it was bad. During our stay there in our room, we can hear staff shouting or talk very loudly and bang the door so hardly till our room could feel it. It was almost every single day. How could our sleep be good after a long walk? I'm kind of disappointed with this hotel and all my trust to them. I hope expedia could valued my feedback. Very bad service provided by front desk staff. First day upon check in, I received a call from the front desk asking whether I left my luggage at the lobby. I repeated thrice no, the bellboy took my luggage as I just arrived. The front office guy got irritated and told me ‘He knows’. I don’t really know what he knows and I asked him if he got me confused with the big group when I was checking in. He did not even apologize and proceeded to hang up the phone. Checking out today, encountered Pae from front desk who is obviously having an extremely bad day with the attitude displayed by her. I have two rooms booked under me. Told her I am checking out one room since the hotel is full today and unable to provide late check out except for one of my other room till 12.30pm (this nice gesture of late check out was done over a call). Pae then asked me if I am checking out for another room which does not belongs to me. She told me in an unfriendly tone that she heard me saying the room number. She did not even bother to apologise when I told her why would I check out another room number. By the way, the Housekeeping deactivated both of my room cards one day before we were checking out and I had to go down to the lobby to rectify it. No apology again and it was also Pae who managed this. Feedback that Pae should be retrained as her level of service is appalling and unsuitable for a hotel under the Accor chain. Extremely disappointed and I will not spend to stay here anymore.

Will not stay again
I stayed here 2 - 3 times a year. When i checked in, i was given a room small like a storeroom. I went downstairs to change the room & front office told me this is the room i booked. I told her i stay here 2 - 3 times a year so i know this is not the standard room but she insisted that i was given an upgrade the last few times. I have stayed here for 4 years at least so i must be real lucky to be given an upgrade every single time over the past few years. I disagreed with her. So i showed her the picture of the room which was advertised on her website & on expedia then only she was willing to change the room for me. I said i wanted to speak to the manager. No one got back to me. I gave an expedia real time review which they responded saying, "they will resolve this with me" but now i am back in my country & still i havent heard a word. Loyalty doesn't pay off in this hotel & i dont get Accor's "feel welcome" here at all. Fearing that i will be given the same terrible treatment, i will not stay here again.

The standard of the hotel has dropped. This trip I went with my family total 13 pax. We booked 3 suites and 2 executive rooms. On the 1st day, the wifi router we rented from iChangi had some problem. iChangi told us they would courier a new one to the hotel by the next morning. Next morning, we checked with the hotel reception, they told us no package for us. We checked again in the afternoon, they told us no package for us again. Finally, in the evening, when we went to the club lounge for some snacks, the hotel staff came with a package and told us we have left something behind!!!! We looked at the package and the time the courier to the hotel was on the 1st day night time!!!! The hotel staff must be sleeping when we had checked twice for our package and they said nothing for us!!!! The hotel wifi sucks big time. Always disconnected and during my last day when I have not even checked out, they already blocked the wifi. After my breakfast on the last day, I was being locked out from my room too. I needed to go to the counter to activate back my room card! The food and drinks at the club lounge was disappointing too! Will not stay in this hotel again!

I had called room service hotline at 1am to order food. I was told by a male staff over the line that someone from room service will return my call. He took down my room number and hung up. I waited for 15 minutes and no one called. Thus I tried calling again, and this time, my order was taken down. My order of a squid ink pasta with tuna and pesto as well as a crab bisque was repeated twice. The male staff on the line repeated and acknowledged my order. While waiting for my food, I fell asleep. I was awoken by a knock on my room door and to my dismay, it was 2.30pm! The staff who delivered my food was very apologetic thus I decided not to return the food although I was served only 1 hour 15 minutes later and sleepy already. First, I was annoyed that instead of what I had ordered, I was served the squid ink spaghetti with seafood instead. Being hungry and exhausted, I decided to eat it although I am allergic to a certain kind of prawn and my stomach is not very accepting of spicy food. Much more disappointedly, the food was not warm at all. This led me to think that my order was very likely neglected, and my food left undelivered despite it being prepared. Novotel Platinum has always been my only choice on my yearly visits to BKK. I have ordered room service before during my previous stars, at dinner time and this was not the kind of service standards I encountered. Otherwise, the service that we receive (especially at the concierge at Level G) is impeccable.
