A Maiden Rest, Weymouth
great spot and warm welcome
a great location and warm welcome. thoroughly recommended. owner Dean really helpful, assisting with parking space and receiving and concealing a surprise gift for my partner whose birthday fell during the stay. breakfast excellent, bay view and big windows in the dining area and rooms clean and comfortable. sure it’s not brand new or modern but we found it well kept and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A little gem on the seafront
We came to Weymouth for the motocross, A Maidens Rest was a perfect spot, beautiful sea fews, the room was a good size, with tea, coffee facilities, good amount of milk. Dean was friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and steaming hot, thank you Maya, found a little gem and we will be back again for another stay .

Terrific stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with A Maiden rest in a triple seaview room. Dean the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We had to arrive late at 10.30pm and we messaged him ahead and it was no problem at all. He was also happy to allow us to leave luggage behind after check out for collection later and we were able to enjoy a few hours in Weymouth Town Centre. The breakfast was superb and the service was great. The sea view bedroom and dining room were very enjoyable and we were blessed with beautiful Weymouth sunshine to enjoy from them. Would definitely stay again!

Very Good8.0
Great breakfast, tired decor,peculiar service.
Hotel is in an ideal location. Hotel is very tired looking and dated but very clean with a comfortable bed. Room was noisy as partition walls very thin. The owner Dean has a very abrupt manner and comes across unfriendly/rude. Breakfast was a real positive, freshly cooked to order, delicious! Given the vast choice of accommodation in Weymouth we probably would not stay here again.

Tired but what you'd expect for the price.
Breakfast was great! But due to attending a local BIG event like the Ironman they should have put on an early breakfast for race day morning. They actually said "why would I do that" erm, it's called customer service! All a bit tied inside but it's what you would expect for the price. Excellent location. And view if you have one.
