I loved the view out of the window and the sound of the river. The architecture is much more interesting to me than the common and better known square buildings and "boxes". It's probably an "older" building very well kept. And the really old beech in the center of the property is magnificent.

The hotel was very good, and we would stay there again, but we wish the beds were a bit less hard.....seems to be a European thing, but our backs are not used to it. We turned the heater off at night and opened the window, (there is some road noise) but warm air softly blows into the room through a vent, so the room never really got cool enough at night. We had no other issues with the hotel and liked it. The room was definitely spacious enough, esp. for European standards.
