Very comfortable bed, not much else.
I wanted to like the Three Bridges Bed and Breakfast. In this day and age of Motel 6 and Holiday Inn, a small, independent lodging sounded great. I cannot, unfortunately, recommend much about Three Bridges. Positives: The folks on staff were friendly when they could be found. Upon request, they quickly provided an iron as well as a hairdryer. I can say that the bed was quite comfortable. The B & B is a short walk to the train station. Negatives: The breakfast is beyond pathetic. There were many types of name-brand cereals, but only a tiny bit of milk. The croissants and muffins were the type you can place on the shelf then check a month later to see if you need more. When I got up I checked to see if any coffee was brewing; sadly the pot only contained coffee made the previous day. A few minutes later the pot was on but the coffee was cold - they were reheating day old coffee! Our room had no trash bin and no chairs.

What means "bed and breakfast" really
The room itself was nice. Good bed, good shower. The breakfast was a joke and very primitive having to sit on a small table, with a bit of toast and coffee, and no hotel personnel visible. The entrance of the place looks poor, looks like an empty place with nobody home and makes one wonder "where did I arrive here?". But as said, the room itself was nice for someone only coming to sleep.

comfortable, but problematic
Nicely decorated room. Comfortable and reasonably priced even though it was 3 feet from reasonably busy road (ear plugs were supplied). Was not happy with a few things. Mainly- parking was not free as advertised. When queried, the owner apologized but should have admitted a mistake and not charged. This, as well as an attempt to charge me a second time for the room left a bad first impression. Heating not on at all times. Room was exceptionally cold from my 4pm check in until 6pm. When queried (twice), the owner apologized but should have turned the central heating on to allow guests to set room temperatures via the radiator thermostat, or supplied a fan heater in the interim. The person who checked me out was grumpy- acting like I was inconveniencing him for needing assistance which left a bad last impression. I therefore would not stay here again.

amazing value
One night stay for travelling into Brighton. Excellent value, lovely room. Traffic noise died down around midnight so not a problem. Lovely staff, cereal and toast type breakfast. Serve yourself but absolutely everything we need and more - fresh fruit, crumpets, good choices.
