Very comfortable bed, not much else.
I wanted to like the Three Bridges Bed and Breakfast. In this day and age of Motel 6 and Holiday Inn, a small, independent lodging sounded great. I cannot, unfortunately, recommend much about Three Bridges. Positives: The folks on staff were friendly when they could be found. Upon request, they quickly provided an iron as well as a hairdryer. I can say that the bed was quite comfortable. The B & B is a short walk to the train station. Negatives: The breakfast is beyond pathetic. There were many types of name-brand cereals, but only a tiny bit of milk. The croissants and muffins were the type you can place on the shelf then check a month later to see if you need more. When I got up I checked to see if any coffee was brewing; sadly the pot only contained coffee made the previous day. A few minutes later the pot was on but the coffee was cold - they were reheating day old coffee! Our room had no trash bin and no chairs.

What means "bed and breakfast" really
The room itself was nice. Good bed, good shower. The breakfast was a joke and very primitive having to sit on a small table, with a bit of toast and coffee, and no hotel personnel visible. The entrance of the place looks poor, looks like an empty place with nobody home and makes one wonder "where did I arrive here?". But as said, the room itself was nice for someone only coming to sleep.

Never again, avoid at all costs...
I booked two rooms and was not expecting the Ritz... Upon arrival I was asked to pay, this despite my having already paid in full online. I was then told I must pay an additional £3.50 to park a vehicle in their empty car park, not a good start...! My room was clean and tidy but that's where the good bits end. Room was directly adjacent to a main road, very busy, very noisy, street light with blinds and double glazing that was about as useful as a chocolate fireguard...! TV was comical, very poor color and way too small. My booking included breakfast. This it turns out was claimed to be continental, had I know that was the only choice we certainly would not have booked. Continental is supposed to include meats and cheese etc - not here. Total DIY, bowl of cornflakes, over ripe bananas, stale bread and VERY cheap coffee. Not the best way to start what turned out to be a 18 hr working day for my team. It was a first and last time visit, be advised you can get much better than this.

Friendly service. Great bed and shower.
Man and wife team running the place. Went out of his way to be as helpful as possible. But check the info on hotels.com before booking.

Three Bridges Bed And Breakfast
Stayed two nights as we were visiting my daughter. The hotel was close to the station and we received a warm welcome from the owner. Room was spacious and clean and well decorated. Breakfast was continental but plenty of choice. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Would definitely state again.
