Wonderful stay at a beautifully maintained historic home, The service and food was exceptional. Close enough to nearby towns and great for walks in the countryside.

Beauty and comfort
This lodge and host are perfectly charming. The building and the grounds are beautiful. Our host assisted us with dinner suggestions and arranged a taxi into town. The breakfasts were the best of the trip. My favorite part was sitting by the fire and hearing stories about the restoration of the lodge. This place feels like home but without all the chores.

AMAZING stay!!!
We had such a wonderful stay at the Marlagh Lodge! My husband and I traveled Ireland on our honeymoon and our stay in Ballymena at the Marlagh Lodge was one of our favorite memories :) The breakfast was spectacular! The tea and coffee were top notch and always readily available. Our room, "The Blue Room", was perfect... spacious, comfortable, and clean. We already can't wait to visit again!

Well what can i say about this place. Unbelievable. My room was absolutely huge with a big 4poster bed. Dressing table, sofas and chairs with a lovely onsuite bathroom and large standin shower. Even little things like chocolate bars with the coffee/tea and dressing gowns on the door. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding i must say its the best black pudding ive ever tasted. I stayed there 2 weeks ago, however ive forgotten the mans name who owns the house but if your reading this id like to thankyou again for the best nights sleep ive had for years and your lovely home.
