Aquila, Cortina d'Ampezzo
worst room when booked through third party
When we arrived we were offered a completely different room from what we booked on (we paid for a room with a balcony and a view, instead we were given a smaller room with no balcony and no view!). After a long argument with the management they "managed" to find what we were asking for. But first, they pushed us to stay in that room saying the hotel was booked! We suspect that hotels give the worst room to people who do not book directly through them...this is already not a first time!

Definitely recommend; great location; great servic
Room was spartan and small but very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly, very efficient and very helpful. The hotel is not extremely easy to understand how to get to because it is on a closed street for walking. Parking is free but is valet so you just have to drive to the front of the hotel on the walkway and they will park your car. Breakfast is extensive and very good.

Good choice if you want to be in centre of town
Room was basic but clean, comfortable and in good condition. Staff were excellent. Buffer breakfast was only ok but the restaurant was good. Internet strength was not good. The hotel's position in the centre of town was a big plus.

Good location. Lack of service
The hotel was fine overall. The bed was terrible it was to small single beds pushed together so my partners feet hung over the end of the bed. The staff weren't very helpful. The didn't even let us know when/where breakfast was. Had to ask for wifi. Didn't let us know about how to get to ski fields. Good location if you are familiar with the area. Restaurants don't open till 6.30 or 7.30. Which is a bit late when you come off the mountain starving.
