A lttle grubby
The hotel didn't seem to be sure of our booking when we arrived. After that, the check in was swift. The room was grubby as was the bathroom. The duvet cover and the pillowcases were marked and clearly very old indeed. It was quiet and the location is great for visitors to Brigg. The price of the room was low and I suppose this was a case of ''getting what you paid for''

Please in my advise do not book this hotel. The room was so damp they locked a window open with a bolt to try and air the room. Which made the room soooooooooo cold. The smell was of a damp dog in the room was so overpowering I sprayed my deodorant to the point I ran out. after 15mins of trying to get used to this I walked out. The hotel refused my complaint. But luckily I booked through expedia and got a refund in vouchers.

Err What can i say !
Bad points first.....The room i stayed in was damp, room constantly smelt fusty....the duvet and bed was cold and damp to the touch....heating in the rooms seem to be non existent, 1 storage heater on the wall turned fully up took forever to warm up.....no heating in the bathroom, heated towel was present but didnt work....generally quite noisey, doors slamming and banging all hours from the privately rented flats next to the hotel rooms.....the good points !! Err Err Err No sorry cant think of any!

The Exchange Coach House, Brigg - July 2012
I was working in Brigg for a couple of days so needed a hotel close to the town centre. Booked this via Hotels.com and listed hotels by distance from the postcode where I was working. This is a fairly nice hotel with the rooms not being part of the main building (at least the one I stayed in wasn't). The room was comfortable and very 'homely' but maybe a little dated. It is a shame the hotel bar wasn't open and I am not sure whether it just wasn't open on Wednesday evening when I got there or whether it was closed permanently? However the back of the hotel opens onto the main pedestrian walkway through the town centre so several pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Nice place and I will book here again when I am next working in Brigg.

Hot water
Whilst this was a lovely little hotel, the restaurant was closed for refurbishment and there was not hot water in my room.
