Adalesia Hotel&Coffee, Turin

We visited Turin for the first time in August 2017 and stayed at the Adalesia. Overall, the hotel was decent value for the price paid. We arrive early so had dropped off the luggage first. They did not have a bathroom for guests to use, as the lobby was just a desk adjacent to a cafe type space that served breakfast. The room itself is very small and basic, but clean. Bed was fresh but very firm. Bathroom is small, especially the shower stall. The AC worked well, but got too cold and could not be adjusted for some reason. The wifi took some efforts to connect. The room itself faced the back of the building and was quiet for the most part but hallway noise could be heard crystal clear. The location of the hotel was very good - just a few blocks from the train station and a brief walk to all of the museums and shopping.

We booked this hotel because of the convenience of being so close to the train station, especially since we were planning to stay for only a few hours in Turin before continuing our trip. This hotel was a great surprise, nicely decorated nonpretentious and with a simple and clean style. The room was really clean and comfortable (maybe a little bit on the small side, but it was for one night). The Lobby really was few uncomfortable chairs, but honestly, who wants to hang out in the Lobby when you are in a great city like Turin. The fact that after a certain hour is no one in the Lobby can be the only annoying part but you get an access card so you go out at night and be back to your room so you still able to enjoy the city.

Hotel Adalesia is well=located for the Porta Nuova train station and is attractive and up-dated. There is one very nice, hard-working young woman at the front desk (only until 9:00 pm) who is responsible for everything. The lowest cost room is too small for two people. The studio apartment next door in a building with elevator is much nicer. We did not take the breakfast which is 7 euros pp per day.

I love my room at Hotel Adalesia! It was a spacious studio with small kitchen and generous space. The room was very comfortableand modern. And the A/C worked extremely well. The hotel was very conveniently located close to the train station and very walkable to major tourist sites. I would definitely stay here again!
