The perfect situation. Overlooking the ocean and close to shopping and restaurants. Beautiful walks around Cascais. Five minute walk to the train station - plenty of trains to Lisbon and all the cultural sites. Would definitely come back!

A pleasant stay
The location is great. Easy walk to Sao Bento train station, metro D line, the river, and fun restaurants. The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was comfortable. The lobby and bar area are clean and well maintained. Our room and some of the hallways are a bit worn. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Fun cave like hotel! Our room was quiet and nice. They stored our luggage before check in when we arrived and after check out when we departed. Great location next to the river, the Stock Market Palace and the bridge to walk across.

Lovely property in great location. Breakfast good. Bar food not good.Check-in slow due to paperwork required (by law); resulted in queues & delays from 1500. Refusal to check one in before 1500 hrs and then just issue keys from 1500 hrs ie more efficient for staff & clients. Staff friendly and as helpful as their remit allowed, they were overworked and tired.Good at pointing people in the right direction rather than hands on assistance. Reception staff some experienced, some being trained understandable in post Covid climate. Lacked a Concierge eg somebody to deal with luggage, taxis etc. Reception staff doing all the work. Considering no restaurant in the hotel & poor bar food with overworked and tired staff, reception staff lacked knowledge of restaurants around hotel and in/on the Ribiera; things a Concierge would do. All understandable post Covid. Hopefully by 2023 recruitment and training will be ready, up and running.
