    Not good at guest service
I stayed for 3 days n at the begginig was really bad. First of all the guy on peir was quite careless.. when I arrived I asked him.about the boat to Hotel he just said "later later"... I asked about time he said wait there later" I mean what kind of answear eas that... another guy said "around 1030" this guy was from.another resort but he was way more helpful. Second the reception not really nice. After my check in they told me.wait by the little car someone will take u to ur room... after 20 min waiting on the heat i came back to reception n the guy said " I told u to wait someone will come" the 2 couple who arrived with were already on their room. After one guy came n took my luggage and said we have to walk no driver on the car... anyway after the room was dirty the toilet was sondusty n the showers wall so bad.... dust everuwhere no clean floor n the outside chair so muggy. I wanted to call reception but guess what.. the phone didnt work. . So i walked all the wait to reception n the same guy said well i will send someone to clean just wait... the cleaner arrived n they just literally passed a towel on the furniture and siad clean madam... I was like noooo this is so dirty.. the cleaners barly understood english so i took my phone to translate. I showed them where to clean n they were not interrsted until I pull out a bill like tip n said if u clean nice tip for you... until then both started to clean every spot I showed.

Seriously, don't book if you want a place to sleep
This was a terrible experince from the start. We get there, along with about 20 other people, and they annouce that they overbooked and have no more rooms. What??? Some people were freaking out. My friends and I decided we were in paradise and some things you don't have control over so whatever. They walk us to the next resort where they say they have villas booked for us. Well, the resort has no idea we were coming and they are also sold out. Great, did anyone call ahead? Nope. So, we all walk, with all our luggage, to the next place. Literally a 1 star compared to our villa we had originally booked with Bay View. We were over wasting our time so dropped our bags and headed to the beach. This place was half the cost of what we payed for Bayview, but they refused to reimburse or credit the difference. The poor guy at check in was practically in tears from all the angry tourist. What it comes down to was terrible management. The next day, as we are finally checking in, there is another group that they have no room for, including a family of 5. Same thing the next day. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE THEY WILL NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR YOU. On top of that, I got bed bugs from the place they put us in the 1st night. Food was OK, service was terrible. 2.5 hours for dinner, 30 minutes for water and drinks and brought us back wrong change, twice. I wish I had a good thing to say about this place, because the view and accommodations are beautiful, but I don't.

    Poor 2.0
    Great location , shabby hotel
The maids where sweet and friendly and the aircon in room was good. The room was basic and old fashion but clean. The reception was shabby and run down. All the sun loungers where broken. Trying to get a beach towel was almost impossible as they run out every day. Around each of the fans in reception are blood splats on the walls from years of bugs getting killed in the fans. The staff where very rude and reluctant to do there own jobs. We overheard a member of the staff tell a women who had been waiting in the heat for 30mins that he was to busy to talk to her. The wifi didn't work. On the last night we heard scratching in the roof of our room. Must have been a squirrel or a rat. It sounded like it was about to come through the walls and we couldn't sleep. I called reception and they said that someone would be there in 10mins to sort it out. We waited and waited and no one came. The location is perfect, it's in a really lovely quiet spot. Beautiful beaches and not far from some lovely restaurants and bars. Away from the party side of the island. If the staff hadn't been so prickelly then it would have been easier to overlook the old fashion shabby hotel.

    Phi Phi hillside paradise
On arriving at the pier, via ferry from Phuket, we had no idea of how we were going to get to the hotel. To our surprise, we found a gentleman holding a board with the hotel name on and he told us to wait to the side. The next minute, we were getting into a longtail boat, luggage and all. This a free service, which takes you directly to the hotel from the pier, to save you the hassle of dragging your luggage through the village, as there are no vehicles on the island. On pulling up to the beach in front of the resort, we jumped out into ankle deep water, while the gentlemen on the boat carried our bags across the little bit of water and beach and to the lobby. Check in was efficient and the lobby has cold water dispensers for you to hydrate in the heat. Rooms are individual and are dotted around the resort like little chalets on stilts. The walk to the rooms is along an undulating path which is quite tiring in the heat. Thankfully at check in and check out, there is a lorry that takes you and your luggage to your room. We were very grateful for this service, and thankful that our room was not further up the hill. Rooms are large and neat with a balcony for relaxing. The resort is a short walk to the pier and the hub of Phi Phi with plenty of restaurants to choose from, but also well located for quietness. A superb spot, with its own little stretch of beach.

Beautiful views but that's about it!
The hotel has a beautiful view and if you stay in the new wing the bungalows are brand new. However, make sure you are getting the new wing if you pay for it. We arrived and went to our room that was supposed to be 1 large bed in the new wing. We had two full beds pushed together and it seemed like we were in an older room based on the outdated bathroom but didn't think too much about it. As we were leaving the hotel we walked through the entire pathway to the front desk and realized we were definitely in the old wing. I told the front desk girl and she refuses to help me and you like not refund the difference. Then she made us pay for waters from the minibar that the bellman said was free when he dropped us off. I even clarified with him to be sure because usually you have to pay for the minibar. When we had tours during the day in koh phi phi the tour guides usually pick you up from your hotel and the hotel staff was very bad at communicating where they would pick us up/who. No one really speaks english. The staff members are pretty rude. There are many other villa resorts near by that I highly recommend taking a look at first.
