Overall very enjoyable
Overall it was a really enjoyable stay for us at the Hotel Lunetta. The room and facilities were nicely furnished and decorated, the location can't be beat, and the breakfast included in the booking was also quite good. There were a few small things that could have been better, but also a few details that stood out in a positive manner. Whether those are more or less significant to other travellers will depend on personal priorities. Pro's: - Nice breakfast - Very polite and attentive service, helpful staff - Nice tub in the bathroom - Complimentary coffee and cookies when we waited a short while at check-in - Excellent Relax-Massage at the spa - Daily weather forecast card provided with cleaning of the room - I loved the little chocolates that were left in our room by room service Con's - The windows in our room were facing the opposing wall of some sort of interior courtyard - The AC in the room didn't seem to work which caused it to be too hot to sleep at night, even in December. Although this probably could have been solved, but we chose not to bother complaining as we were only staying a short while and just opened the windows at night instead - it was simply not a huge deal to us. - The bathroom could have been a tad cleaner; the faucets in the tub were covered in limescale - The use of the small spa comes at an additional cost (not too expensive though) - Breakfast items such as the scrambled eggs, beans, and bacon were cold

The location, service and breakfast were amazing. I had booked the hotel for the indoor pool for which the description does not mention there is an additional cost for each visit which I was disappointed in the lack of clarity. Overall, the spa was relaxing and the surrounding area was a good central spot to see all the landmarks.

A great hotel IF you're not on the 4th Floor
Hotel Lunetta is a gorgeous hotel. It was very clean. It had a beautiful roof terrace. Our bathroom was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was quite delicious. I really enjoyed the location because it was near Trastevere (where I wanted to go at night for dinner) and near all of the tourist attractions (where I wanted to go during the day). We were able to walk everywhere! A few issues we had --- we stayed in one of their rooms on the fourth floor of the hotel. There are only two rooms up there. Our shower sprayed water all over the floor - it was something we had to clean up every single time we showered. It was such a pain! Another complaint was the noise. The first night we had a business man that sounded like he was on a conference call for hours. We could hear him vividly. It was like he was sitting in the room with us. The second night, we had two women who were up at all hours of the night drinking and being so loud. We called the front desk, and they tried to take care of it for us. Of course they cannot control how their guests act, but they HAVE to do something about the sound between those two rooms. If you book with them, MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST NOT TO STAY ON THE FOURTH FLOOR!!!!!!!! Another issue was this did not seem like a hotel where they wanted to help with dinner reservations and booking tours. This was our honeymoon, so we wanted to have semi-fancy, delicious meals out, but it seemed like we had to find those ourselves.
