Fire sale
This hotel burned down 6 weeks ago. Without any notice from the hotel or Hotels.com, I arrived late evening to Phuket and had to scramble for accommodation. Nearby vendors noted that the owner of Grand Blue made arrangements for the guests to stay at a sister hotel, a hostel. Would have been nice to have been notified so I could make alternate arrangements. From their most expensive seaview room to a hostel!!! Pretty crappy customer service!

Only the top floor, 3rd, has good view
Not all sea views are equal, but u pay the same price. The 3rd floor sea veiw is for customers staying longtime or the owners freinds. Ours on the 2nd floor, has many obstucles in view. Old tv and furniture. I dont think any rooms have balconys. No 24hr reception. Great location to walking st, beach, and next to mini mart. Owner has very good motorbikes for rent and laundry service is also good. Guess i was hoping for a view shown in hotels .com

Already commented on this property, but had sea view this time. Still not complaining, it's in a great location & if you are going to Patong , you aren't going to go to bed early. Room was good, bed was good. Staff were friendly, from receptionist to cleaner.

This place is in the right place right on the front. 5 minute walk to Bangala Road. Don't be surprised if you hear noise, people go to Patong for the night life!! & don't get a sea view, that will help a bit. It was functional and for the price, you can't have the ritz. I would stay again
