Funky, with good service
Hotel Ocho welcomes guests in a friendly, open pub. The check in desk is next to the bar. Rooms are a new take with modern furniture in a renovated industrial building. Overall, the service, food, and location are excellent. Nevertheless, for business the rooms lack good workspaces, normally having only a miniscule table.

The window sill was dusty. Service was great. Bed was very comfortable.

Very cool, minimalist room. Great big windows with good views. Off a main road in Toronto, easy to get to the street car stop nearby. The desk is closed from 12AM-7AM so it definitely had a more boutique hotel feel. I also called many times about trying to drop off my luggage early and no one answered or returned my phone calls. When I made it there they were able to accommodate me but I would have liked to speak with someone before making the trek with my luggage.

Great find!
Hotel Ocho is perfect for the single traveler. The rooms are cute and quaint and the service is great. The vibe is modern and trendy with comfort. The bed was so comfy and relaxing. The area is great, near everything food, shopping and fun! I would stay again on a business trip. Budget friendly as well.

Decent stay, great location
Good stay. An interesting hotel with only a few rooms but great location - walkable to everywhere. Could be cleaner, i noticed several hairs in the bathroom but overall in decent shape. Incredibly thin walls, i overheard an entire conversation from the other room. But all in all, good for the price!

Not what you'd expect.
The folks were friendly, straight forward, and the place was great! It was a little unconventional compared to a cookie-cutter hotel chain, and honestly, I appreciated it.

Can’t beat the location and price
We will definitely be returning! Perfect location just off Queen St and great price. No parking lot so we just booked a spot at a nearby garage through Parking Panda. Sad the TV couldn’t access our NCAA March Madness basketball games but totally understandable. Shh—don’t tell everyone about this gem. We want it to be available for us the next time we come! ;)

This hotel needs upgrading - price too high for value - no service - dirty carpets - soiled walls

Bathroom didn't have a door, or even a curtain, which seemed pretty odd to me. They have weddings on Sat and Sun, so it was confusing to check-in on a Sat, since you had to walk through the middle of the wedding party to actually get to reception. The staff were also frequently busy during these days, so it was sometimes hard to reach them.
