Nice hotel but ring ahead to ask about functions
We booked our weekend stay with hotels.com and the transaction was simple. We arrived on the Saturday afternoon and was pleased with our room, we were on the top floor with a private balcony (not that we used it) as ate out for dinner and had breakfast in the restaurant the following morning, that overlooked the golf course. The bathroom standard was pleasing, all surfaces were clean and fresh towels/the basics. The room was equipped-Bluetooth speaker, TV and Nespresso machine all nice added extras, but a few clumps of hair were found on the floor as I went to open the window; that I can only assume fell off a hoover bar, easy mistake so we overlooked it and went to use the gym. The gym from our room was well positioned and the free use of the pool was a nice benefit we took use of the following morning as the pool closed at 7pm. The sleeping arrangement was disappointing as we returned from our meal out about 10:30pm to a wedding in full swing and our hotel room was positioned adjacent to the function room which understandably had music entertainment thats loud volume went onto 11:30pm. It wasn't the be all and end all but it was slightly irritating listening to the bass noise of music when you're trying to sleep in a room you've paid for. So advice would be ring ahead to see if a function is on on the evening you intend to stay... Breakfast the following morning was really good though. I enjoyed the warm danish pastries, and my husband enjoyed the full English

One night stay
It is a lovely setting and nice clean hotel. The car parking was not adequate for guests and golf members. Maybe because it was a fine day but it was packed. Breakfast was good self service range but only one drinks machine meant there were queues for tea and coffee. This was poor as the food became cold while waiting. Check in and out was easy and pleasant. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.

A Great Cousins get together
We had a great cousin's get together at the Ufford park Hotel. We had great rooms overlooking the Golf Course, which were a nice size with a Balcony and chairs. We ate in the restaurant both night and were looked after well. The lounge Area was a nice size so we could all sit together. There is a lot to do within an easy travel distance of the Hotel, We also enjoyed walking round the fitness trail. All in all we had a great time were made to feel most welcome.

Good but could be better
A nice hotel. We were not golfing but just visiting the area, so cannot comment about the golf course. Our family room was clean and very spacious with comfortable beds. We were pleasantly surprised to get two large double beds and a single bed. We used the pool and hot tub which were nice although the changing room were quite dated and could be cleaner. Breakfast was nice with standard hot items and cold buffet. Hash browns were amazing ! I think staff service could be better, our table was not cleaned. Staff could be more friendlier and engaging.
