Small but clean
Hotel is very clean. To me, this is the most important factor and the hotel aces this. The amount of space is on the small side but since you are in the middle of London, this should be expected. Because of that too, the surrounding is always busy. Building is relatively old so sound insulation isn't the best. Saturday night can go on until 3am. Location is good. Being right next to an underground station makes getting around very convenient.

June stay
Room was a decent size and nice to be close to Hyde park. We were facing the street and next to the elevator so it was quite noisy.

Very, very good choice for value
Very good choice for value, maybe even more for value considering excellent location. Small hotel in real meaning of that word. Clean enough, no continental breakfast (scrambled eggs, etc), pleasant and helpful stuff. Funny, fire stairs is daily used for out (you skip reception desk), one elevator, no regular stairs. We spent night in different rooms (we extended staying) and it was quiet enough both on backyard and street side. The walls are very thin, but luckily our neighbors were quiet.

Disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend.
Man working at night was extremely rude to us which staff apologized for... we made a complaint to the manager in which she did not respond about, thankfully the other women working at the front desk had better attitudes. The place is extremely small. Trust me, the reviews are truthful. The location is amazing, however literally had almost no room to walk around once we put our two small carryons and medium size luggage inside our room. The people who stayed were extremely rowdy and were yelling and banging on doors and walls into late hours of the night and it felt like no one was doing anything to control the noise/guests’ behavior. It continued for the nights we stayed (6 nights). Wouldn’t stay here again. Also, they don’t change your sheets very often.. we tried asking for cleaning and they only made the bed, without changing the sheets for us.

Nice and decent hotel near notting hill.
The location is nice with lots of restaurants around and shops and groceries. The location is closed to a subway/tube station. The room is small, which was the shocker and didn't expect it. The breakfast is decent and the same everyday. The staff cleans the room everyday and there are clean towels. The shower water is strong and has very good hot water. Wifi is also good. Overall, it isn't bad except for the size of the room.
