Rude owner.
Employee who I believe was the owner was rude. I have never been treated with this much disrespect by a hotel employee.

Nice hotel
We were very happy with the staff, price, cleanliness and size of our room. I wish the continental breakfast had oatmeal, yogurt or fruit.

Bittersweet honesty
Stayed here a few years ago and thought it would suffice again for our latest trip to Austin. I'm not a picky person, but I was disappointed this time around. The hotel is really looking run down both inside and out. Our room wasn't as clean as I'd expect (again I'm not picky). There were hardly any other guests at the place - which I take as a sign that people are no longer satisfied with it's current conditions. It would probably suffice as a place to crash for a solo traveler, but families should skip past this place. The location, which is hardly the hotel's fault, is very depressed and rundown, and sits on the outskirts of town. I hared writing this review because the owners are nice and like I said, the hotel was better during our last stay.
