A friendly hotel in a beautiful location
Although it was only an overnight stay following attendance at a wedding nearby we found the staff very obliging and friendly, allowing us to check in earlier than stated. The bar was well stocked and had a good variety of drinks to choose from. The vegetarian breakfast was very nice. We would definitely return to the hotel for a weekend stay.

Stayed at The Anglers Arms for a family wedding at Brinkburne Priory. The management were good enough to permit us to take over our rooms early so that we could refresh ourselves and change our clothes after a long journey. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Great base for a weekend in Northumbria
Typical rooms-above-a-pub hotel - the floors are a bit creaky, plenty of noise from the pub downstairs in the evening, but a great location for Brinkburn Priory (where we were attending a wedding). Service was superb, and they happily got our rooms prepared early so that we could change after a long journey. Breakfast was good; cooked to order, service was lovely and friendly although ingredients were average.
