Convenient, clean.
It was a simple stay just a night, and it kept me warm. Looking for affordable place, and close to transportation and nice neighborhood? Give this one a try.

Earls Court is a great location. Wish the hotel matched. The front desk made the lobby fill up with guests and luggage until the stroke of 2 and at 2 the clerk left the room for 15 minutes just to upset everyone off. Upon entering the room the card insert for electricity was broken off, so no power. Clerk promised it would be fixed right away. At 5 still no power and his comment was "You sleep in the dark anyway ". This was a basement room and we had to use our phone flashlight for the bathroom. The next day it was finally working at 6pm after more than 24 hours. Next time I will look harder for a hotel. Maybe use another site.

Great location, not so great hotel.
WiFi purchased by the hour. Room was old and not cared for. Remote for TV required deposit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was amazing.

1 night in London
I've travelled to different countries and to London a few times so here’s my experience at this hotel. The outside of the hotel looks like a converted Mary Poppins house which is either here nor there since most of the buildings look alike in the area. There is no lift. I got the 1st floor which is really the 2nd floor in Europe since their ground floor is 0 but carrying a heavy suitcase in the narrow steps is still a challenge. The carpet in our room is dirty, paint is peeling, drapes seem like they havent been washed for years. There is a 23" TV but you have to put in a £20 deposit to rent the remote. Furnishing is basically wood planks that were nailed together to build a table, etc. Breakfast is nothing special. Toast, jam and hard boiled egg. There is no aircon, I had a nice small balcony and opened the door to cool the room. Since the hotel was not situated in Earls Court Rd, there wasnt much noise at night. Lots of bars and eateries within 3 min of walking. The tube station is about a 7-10 min walk. Bathroom sink is small and low so I had to bend real low just to brush my teeth. The staff at check-in was not congenial. When I asked to repeat what breakfast time was, he basically told me its written on top of the counter. Overall I'd rate this hotel a 1. The only reason I booked this hotel was because it was within the price range of my free night at and was only staying for one night to catch a flight back or else I wouldn't stay here again.

Left the hotel after 2 nights.
Tried to save a few bucks by staying in the St Joseph for 6 nights. I was working in London for the two prior weeks and stayed in a great hotel. We booked this hotel for the next six nights, as I was staying a little longer in London on my own dime. You get what you pay for. This hotel is good for travelers stopping by for a night or two, or anybody partying their way through Europe. The first two nights were fine, but the third night partiers next door pounded on our door for multiple hours. We told the front desk and told the partiers to stop, but no success. We decided to leave the hotel, and they refunded us for the nights we didn't stay, so there's that.
