Good value
The hotel is a little old and tired but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was reasonably priced and had quite a selection, for being used primarily by hotel guests (and not that many). I would stay here again if I'm ever in Potosi.

Excellent location, good restaurant
The hotel is located in a surprisingly quiet area just blocks away from the main square and just paces away from a major site in of itself, the convent of the same name. Despite the constant traffic, creating nauseating choking fumes in the streets around and parallel to Ayacucho St, I slept very soundly and cannot figure why street noise doesn't seep in. Despite being quiet it is close in among most of the central square attractions and felt like a little haven, that I could pop in from time to time. The room was clean, however it has seen better days, with ratty carpet, and dated fixtures. Water pressure/hot water was hit or miss, the first shower was lukewarm at best, but fine on the other occasions. Unfortunately as has often been the case, the toilet can get clogged. The on site restaurant seems to be a big deal, service can be slow, but well meaning and all the meals I had were memorable i.e. the llama medallions with coca leaf sauce! Overall a good experience.
