Only stay if desperate
Absolutely disgusting I have never seen such a poor hotel ever
The stair was very unsafe in the room was dirty and tired in the first room
When we was in the second room I have no words it was that bad
Please stop sending people to this place it’s really that bad
We took photos so we could show people just how bad and disgusting it really is

Room 3 itself was lovely, but the stairs to the room were pretty steep it would have made it difficult if you would need to bring anything larger than a small bag to the room. The worst part of the room was the nest of seagulls on the roof which kept me awake pretty much most of the night which.

I booked the 11b boutique rooms as it was my wife's birthday we did'nt have a problem with the room it was the heat of the room that was the problem with it being above the fish&chip shop the heat coming up from there also with the cooking going on all day the smell was not very nice at all so we had no sleep at all the seagulls screeching on all night is another big issue then to top it all off you can't park outside the place so you have to park in the long stay car park where you have no chance of keeping an eye on your car so the next morning after our stay when we got back to the car we a had a great big scratch down the door done by a screw driver down to the bear metal and that is going to come at a hefty cost to us!!! so a definite birthday to forget.

One thing I found was the Two front door set up.Also the stairs would have been hard for anyone who was infirm.I did,very much,like the Boutique Rooms and would stay again.

Beautiful and good value.
Very pleasant hotel and a clear effort has been put into make the room feel extra special. Bed is lovely and wide meaning plenty of room and it is soft and comfortable. nicely decorated (attic room - no 3) and a great welcome tray with teas and coffee plus biscuits. Mini fridge provided if you have your own cold drinks to store. Bathroom has a luxurious power shower with plenty of hot water, shampoo, gel, Hand cream etc all provided and a towel rail plus plenty of space to put own things. Dressing table in the room a welcome addition and space to store some clothes while visiting. Really enjoyed it and a great location for Berwick itself and visits to other places of interest.
