Overrated. Too bad
The hotel was nice but the staff at the front desk was not very friendly. We struggled finding a place for dinner. There was just a shrug with the shoulder and a comment „it’s Norwegian summer holidays plus a lot of tourists“ True but not helpful… No other help offered Furthermore the Lobby is very cozy but it comes with an intense smell of smoke. Very unpleasant und unhealthy. Too bad. Looked so inviting

A Nice Spot in Alesun
They’re for a few days for work. The room was very comfortable and had an excellent view of the canal. The fitness area was also very nice. However, the sink leaked directly onto the floor below it and the walls are very very thin. If the person next door shut their door, my bed rattled. We weren’t able to get into the hotel restaurant any night we were there but did enjoy their bar. Overall, a very nice stay.

We loved everything about this property. The staff were friendly & extremely helpful, the rooms comfortable, the location was central & the total environment relaxing. We ate lunch & 2 x dinners in the restaurant - everything was exceptional - the food, the service, choice of wines etc. We had a junior studio suite which had a view of the canal. It was a very comfortable room. The hotel had been designed from an old warehouse building some space has been lost due to where pillons are, for example our shower was tight due to having a huge wooden pillon in the bathroom! Apart from that, our stay was most enjoyable.

Brosundet was such a calming and casual chic hotel. After a long day of walking and exploring, it was so perfect to park up with a book (and free coffee/tea) next to their cozy fireplace. I also loved the brand of bath/shower products they provided - I ended up buying a candle to bring home! Also - the free breakfast is fantastic and the location is spot on!
