Calypso Premier Hotel, Hanoi
Enjoy the experience of Hanio.
Hanoi is a very diverse city and we stayed in the old town, managing to walk around was confusing at first and managing to cross a road ( as the traffic to not stop). But the hotel gave us a few hints on how planning our route around the city. The staff made this hotel very enjoyable, as they were exceptionally warm and friendly to all the guests.

Good Hotel
Great staff. Very nice hotel for the price and region. Nice bathroom and good tv. Reasonable mini bar rates. Great location if you want to be in Old Quarter.

Small Hotel in Old Quarter
First, let me say the hotel staff was amazing. They picked us up at the airport. They always greeted us with smiles. They confirmed our tour for us and gave us great tips on navigating the city. The hotel is in the heart of old quarter so it was easy to walk everywhere, we never had to take a cab. Breakfast was good, enough options for us. The room was mediocre. No window. Small space. Bathroom was old and you could hear the people above you showering or flushing. Our AC went out our last night there but when we told the front desk they kindly removed the tax from our hotel charges. They also gave us a free bag of coffee. Overall, we would stay again for the price but I would ensure we had a balcony room.

Lovely hotel
The staff here are great, very friendly and accommodating. Ive never experiences such great custoemr service from a SE Asia hotel. Good breakfast choices. Local area is full of shops, there is a pharmacy across the road, as well as a great Spa which is a 100 m walk away. Not to many restaurants/ eateries in the local area. Duluxe rooms have no external window. Also do not get a room located on the first floor. There is little, if any insulation. You will hear everything coming from the kitchen/ reception area 10-15m walk to Lake as well as night markets. A lot of the local attractions are a 20m walk away.

Over-rated "Hotel" -Construction Site.Noisy.Awful
Dingy ,seedy hotel in a dingy, seedy area. Very dangerous at night. Smelly hotel. Would never ever come back. Totally over-rated. No idea where those 5 stars come from. Apparently all backpackers who never stayed in a real hotel before. This one is just pathetic. Almost no windows , permanent construction noise , View to a depressing shack. And so noisy, wow : hammering and painting at 8 am ! No way ever to relax. Terrible hotel. The worst of it is the location in the farthest point of the dirty and traffic-flooded old quarter. Not nice at all.
