Morelia with love
Nice hotel near the Cathedral, the breakfast was awesome. The welcome drinks were also a plus we enjoyed relaxing next to a nice little waterfall they had in their reception room.

This small hotel works hard at being an arts hotel, but misses some of the basics. It is clean and comfortable--but likely a bit overpriced for what it is. The interior rooms on the second floor are quiet, but avoid the ones without windows because they can be quite stuffy. The breakfast is just ok by Mexican standards (as we know, Mexican breakfasts can be amazing). And there is wifi available only in the lobby. The hotel is well run with a friendly staff. It could just focus on being more Mexican and less arty.
