Best option for downtown Waterbury
Love staying at the Old Stagecoach as it is so convenient to downtown Waterbury and I can walk to all my favorites: Blackback Pub, Freak Folk Brewery, The Reservoir. Rooms 9 (2-4 ppl) and 12 (1-2 ppl) are comfy with good beds/pillows, kitchenettes with full fridge for storing all your great VT beer and stove if you’re cooking. There is a bar (altho unsure if I’ve ever been) and a nice sitting area off the lobby if you want to curl up with a book. Reservation also includes a terrific home-cooked breakfast. Service is always wonderful. Overall, one of my faves in VT.

Great Stay
Lovely owner and Staff, We stayed in the extended part of the hotel and it was very comfortable and clean. Close to town, they serve a full breakfast in the morning and have a cozy little bar as well. We definitely reccommend as a good place to stay when travelling in Vermnt!

What a wonderful place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Stagecoach Inn. The staff was very friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and you could order whatever you wanted from the menu. We really enjoyed the bar and had a great time there. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the common areas of the Inn and sitting in front of the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again.

i really enjoyed the ambiance and laid back feel. so nice having a drink at the in house bar and sitting by the fire ... having some cider and cookies on arrival. a real jem! the only thing that was a bit wierd for me was the bathroom in the hall that we shared . it was very authentic complete with brass shower rod and claw feet. but for me not really what i wanted or needed. if you can look past that its a 10.
