HONEYMOON PERFECTION!
Our stay at this hotel was amazing! we stayed here during our honeymoon and loved the intimacy of the hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful, made us dinner reservations and called taxis etc. Our room was very spacious (king size bed, which is not as common in other hotels) which made our 6 night stay very comfortable. They provided complimentary drinking water, coffee and evening treats during turn down service. We had a street view and I did not find the noise to be too loud, I slept great every night after a long day of sight seeing. We also had a huge bathroom with a large sized tub and shower, double sinks, so we could both get ready at the same time. The location was a 20 min walk from most sites. I can't speak to the roof top terrace because to be honest we forgot that they had one, only because we were so excited to get out and see Rome. Even if shopping is not your thing (which we did not do on this trip) I still highly recommend this location, it's clean and beautiful and we will definitely stay here again when we return back to Rome (after all we through our coins into the Trevi Fountain!)I have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels all over the world and the Babuino 181 is a wonderful small Luxury hotel!

First day in Rome at the Babuino 181
We only stayed at the hotel our first night in Rome, but the hotel is located in a great location not far from the Spanish steps. The hotel itself is wonderful. Our room was upgraded at check in, the staff was outstanding and the included breakfast was outstanding (I wish we would have stayed at this hotel a few more days).

Luxury priced right!!
Not far from Popolo and Spanish Steps and the Spagna train station (A line, $1.50euro per ride), especially from Roma Termini (3 stops away). The hotel was excellent, I loved the personal welcome and all the room accessories provided! Better than some American prominent hotels!! The rain shower has been far better than any I’ve ever had as well!! True to walk distances for other attractions. Rooftop is beautiful with the retracting roof and the staff was warm and welcoming, truly recommend this hotel for the lap of luxury and comfort and pretty decent price for it!! 8.5 out 10 for WiFi, fridge a plus!! My family needs/will experience this as well!! I believe I had the deluxe room fyi.

Plaza di Spagna is a well-located and fabulous area. Excellent local chain of luxury hotels. Congratulations to Alberto Moncada for returning to his roots and operating an excellent hotel and restaurant company. His Roman Handbook is priceless.
