Wonderful stay
All was good..I rather liked the decor. Old world feel. Staff very helpful. Breakfast decent...but all who say everthing is within walking distance I think are a little off...but everything else was great.

My welcome to Maroc
The hotel is beautiful - a riot of Moroccan design (in a good way). The staff could not be friendlier or more more helpful. It is a short walk from the train station, and a walkable distance to the Mosque (about 2 km). I would stay here again any time, or at one of their other hotels based on my experience of this one.

Quaint
I like the old Moroccan style of this hotel. Service is so-so, room is kind of clean. Showers leak, towels are old but it's okay.

Complete Nightmare
I would not recommend staying here. It was cold one evening and the room heater is controlled by a single remote shared throughout the building that can only be requested at the front desk. If you wish to have it turned down during the night, you must go back to the front desk and request the remote. It is the most backward concept I have ever seen. The rest of Casablanca has entered the 21st century... The rooms are poorly renovated. The bathroom was not cleaned prior to check-in and the shower did not have a curtain so water spread throughout the bathroom. Poor tile work and lack of floor drains resulted in flooding. The bathroom light also failed so we had to switch rooms. The mattress is rigid and difficult to sleep on. We debated sleeping on the floor. The "comforter" was not cleaned in several uses. Wifi is only available in the lobby. Note: this is the same place other patrons smoke cigarettes. There is a lack of ventilation so the smoke lingers throughout. The hotel offers breakfast for 6 Euro's. After witnessing the deplorable state of the rooms, we opted to eat at the restaurant across the street for literally half the price, better service and wifi. After bringing these unfavorable conditions to the attention of the front desk "staff," they had no interest in assisting. Their recommendation was to write a note in the guestbook. The hotel is walking distance from the Medina, probably the only highlight of the venue; easy to get away from it
