Motel style service
This is the French equivalent of Extended Stay America - where room cleaning and towels are upon request otherwise its once every 3 days. While this is reflected in the price I do believe if the management is better, the service will be better too. People at the front desk are courteous and friendly. Good location to the metro station - right by it actually so you can get to anywhere in Paris.

Worst Hotel I Ever Stayed At.
The Paris Recluse was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, and I travel a lot. The paper thin walls, tiny room, and unclean sheets, etc. Worst though was on my 2nd day, when I came back to my room there was a fresh cigarette butt in a prominent place in my room and it reeked of smoke, despite the maid leaving the windows wide open (which I never touched). The cleaning lady took a smoke break in my room. When I told the person at the desk (who was 1 of 3 during my stay, none of whom spoke more than just a smattering of English), he said that no, the maid didn't smoke in there. I asked him then how the cigarette butt and smoke got in my room, since I don't smoke, and the cigarette wasn't in my room before I got there. He had no explanation. I told him fine, don't believe me, but I didn't trust the cleaning service anymore to be in my room and I didn't want any smoke in there (it really irritated my eyes and throat trying to sleep in there afterwards), plus the rooms didn't have lock boxes and I didn't think my stuff was safe if they're going to lie about it, so I just asked him to make sure that no one tries to clean or enter my room again while I was there. Of course, a couple hours later, cleaning service comes to my room to clean it. Luckily I was there at the time so I sent them away. Terrible. I actually left a night early that I already paid for and spent the night at the airport.
