Gave me wrong room, tried to fight refund.
We booked a suite. When we arrived upstairs, it was a much smaller room than we ordered. Clerk said the room we booked was not available. Since it was Thanksgiving, we had no choice but to stay in the smaller room, which was uncomfortable for my family. The sleeper couch was extremely uncomfortable and lates out to were the mattress was touching the other bed. Then, when we contacted Hotels.com, the management tried to dispute my account of what happened. They suggested I was told the room was not available, and I accepted the new one freely. Luckily, Hotels.com refunded my stay, but I left with sense that this probably will happen to others at this property, and that they may book rooms that aren’t available regularly, for whatever reason. It’s not that special of a hotel to deal with this risk. The rooms look nice, but beds not especially comfortable.
