We had a family emergency and plans changed. Needed to find a place to stay and chose Residence Inn last minute. Our stay, which got extended, was pleasant considering our circumstances. The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was hot and fresh with everything from eggs, to fruit,to pastries and hot coffee and tea. Will stay here again on next visit.

Traveling with pets
We were extremely disappointed in our stay. We are marriot bonvoy members and have come to have certain expectations of a hotel with the name Marriot attached. The room was old and dated with visible stains on the upholstery and the carpet felt dirty. There were cigarette butts on the ground all over....not just in the smoking areas. And the outdoor table area smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke we couldn't sit there. And the most concerning was a pile of dog vomit that was left on the carpet in the hallway by the exit door. We certainly hope that this does not indicate that Marriot is lowering their standards. We stayed at the Residence in because we were traveling with our dog...but I don't think we will stay at another again because we had a similar experience while staying at a Residence Inn in Illinois on the same trip. Also the language used by the front desk staff while on the phone was very offensive and could be heard while guests were in the dining area.

Okay stay, could have been better if water supply to hotel was not shut off for about 7 hours! Unforeseen event - not blaming anyone. Room and amenities were excellent. Recommended.
