Awesome location - peaceful yet only a boat ride from town - lake suites with jacccuzi well appointed for a junior suite. Service consistent.

Nice, but not if you want to be in Queenstown.
The room was nicely appointed and the staff was very helpful with any requests. The food was decent albeit expensive for what you get (Wakatipu Grill was by far the best) . The location was terrible for everything except for getting to the airport. And they unfortunately didn't even have an airport shuttle. Save up extra money just so you can get to town and back if you're planning on staying here! If you do, ask for David from the taxi company. He's hilarious and informative. View was okay, but virtually every hotel has a view in Queenstown.

Beautiful and unique area with inpecable service
Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful! I got sick and they went above and beyond to help us and they even sent a fruit basket with water and a lovely note. Made us feel at home.

Currently, probably not Queenstown's best location
This is a nice property, but it's across the lake from Queenstown proper. Depending on what you are interested in doing, that's a good or bad thing. Normally it would only be about a 12 minute drive to town, plus the search for parking. However, they are currently doing what looks like a major construction project on the bridge, which can add 20 minutes each way. We got upgraded into a lake front suite, which I think is probably time share. I say that because it was rundown: peeling paint in bath, bathroom doors that don't close properly, stained carpet, leaking roofs in the halls, etc. In terms of aesthetics, it wasn't good value for money, but if you can overlook those things, the room was comfortable enough. Fitness center was well enough equipped. Pool was a bit warm for lap swimming.
