Aurelia Vatican Apartments, Rome
Great Place
The hotel clerk including the owner were very helpful and polite. They were able to provide information on the close proximity of all local transportation. They arranged our taxi service to the airport. The hotel is very close to the "Vatican City." Overall, the personnel are awesome.

A fantastic place to stay
From the moment we arrived to the minute that we left -Giada and the whole group of people working there were a pleasant surprise and such a great experience. Giada was so friendly and outgoing and over and above everything she did. We look forward to staying there again when we come back in 2 years and hopefully Giada will still be there but if not the other people were fantastic. Thank you all so much.

Great hotel accommodation, a bit too far from town
The Aurelia Vatican Apartments are a great place to stay while visiting Rome. My wife and I very much enjoyed the apartment. The kitchen is adequate and the small balcony was relaxing place for me to smoke cigarettes. The room was incredibly clean and the people at the service desk were very helpful and nice. There is also an espresso machine for 0.60 euro. The location of the hotel requires a ride on the metro in order to see any of Rome's most visited tourist attractions. The metro stop is ~10 min walk from the hotel and is just long enough to be a pain if you are carrying a lot of luggage. Also, it's not exactly convenient to come back-and-forth multiple times a day between downtown and the apartment because of its distance from downtown. We tended to plan full days such that we did not have to come back to the hotel.

Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful place to stay-this will be where We stay if We ever visit Rome again!. The check in process was a little lengthy but that is because they take the time to show you a map of Rome, where key points are, and how the metro system works, which we were grateful for, as this was our first trip to Rome. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the owner Sam even ordered our pizza for us when we inquired about delivery the one night. Every night, we came home to clean towels, beds made, and dishes cleaned for us which we did not expect at all but appreciated very much. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - no complaints here! A short walk to the metro made it easy to get anywhere in Rome. Out of the 3 places we stayed at while in Italy, Aurelia Vatican Apts was by far our favorite-We highly recommend!
