Great place to stay! Close to everything!
We loved our stay here! We were on the ground floor and had a shared patio! Our room and bathroom were a great size and we enjoyed the tips from the front desk staff! The location is perfect because you are only a few blocks from the Main Street with all of the restaurants!! Would highly recommend this hotel!!

Very nice hotel in Ushuaia
I stayed in three different hotels in Ushuaia and this was my favourite. It was clean, comfortable and even had an electric towel warmer, which allowed me to wash a pair of jeans and actually have them dry. The only downside is that the hotel is up a sharp incline. I was afraid that I would roll back down the hill with my luggage. Take a cab and that is not a problem.

Breakfast was great with awesome views. Rooms were large and comfortable. Enjoyed the kitchen with everything needed to cook. Saved some money there. Great location too. Short 5 minute walk to main street San Martin.

Nice location and view
The room was nice. It's basically like a small apt with kitchenette so spacious with a small sitting and dining area. Very convenient location - easy to walk to city centre bus stop, shops, and restaurants. The breakfast was average - basic continental. But in a top-floor setting with beautiful views. They also have free afternoon and evening tea, coffee and cookies so a great place to sit late in the day as well. What wasn't so great was the power went off intermittently (this was a city issue, they seem to be experiencing rolling brown-outs). Made it tough to keep devices charged and no power also means no wifi! Also, due to natural gas cutoffs, we also didn't have hot water for a day and a half (a cold shower after a long muddy day of hiking is especially NOT pleasant). There may also not have been heat (it wasn't freezing but it seemed a little cold). Understandably this is not a hotel issue (affects everyone in the city), but the hotel's response was on the lame side - they should at least have flashlights in all the rooms! Minor things were an issue as well - squeaky doors, loud plumbing (can hear the toilet next door flushing). Hotel staff was not as knowledgable as I would have expected given that tourists are coming here to trek and tour.
