Decent hotel in Venice - 3 stars with US comp
Decent hotel in Venice. If you are going with high expectations (specially US tourists) and expecting matching facilitates with US 4 Stars hotels... then you will not be very happy. In US... it is 3 stars. Breakfast also if 3 star at max.

Room Size: Perfect Bed Size (double): it felt like a king Bathroom: Big Service: Good (only thing that every time you get out of the room the A/C turns off, so when your going up you have to request to turn on the A/C). Location: AMAZING Vaporetto stop right outside of the hotel. Our flight was at 9:30 AM we left the hotel at 7:15 A.M and took a bus. We got to the airport on time.

Ok stay
Very old vibe, def not a modern hotel. Overall wasn’t a bad stay I guess for what you pay. Hotel was very tough to find, no street names/numbers. I luckily stumbled upon it, it’s located in the back end of a dark alley way. Breakfast was ok. Make sure you get there before breakfast was over as the staff was picking up the food 10 minutes before breakfast was even set to be over.

We stayed at the Pesaro for 2 nights in a room facing the Grand Canal. On the positive side, we absolutely loved the Grand Canal view. The room was large, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the location of the hotel is really great. Right next to a Vaporetto stop and an easy walk to Rialto and San Marco. On the other hand,I found the hotel staff to be the least friendly and helpful of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our 12 day trip to Italy. The breakfast spread was also the most underwhelming. Finally, I agree with another reviewer that the room's condition wasn't necessarily up to snuff considering what we were paying. For example, there was a hole in the curtain in our room.

It's not that I am picky but....
Pesaro is at a great location. The service was great. We booked the junior suite so we can have a great view of the Grand Canal. The room was huge with very large glass doors and windows to the grand canal. The balcony has two chairs to sit in while enjoying the view below. The bed was extremely comfortable, Wi-Fi was great and fast, TV as a good size to match the size the of the room. The bathroom was very spacious as well. Being a Junior Suite and paying the price of the location and amenities, I was a little disappointed with some of the details of the room. This was not a cheap room so I was expecting everything to be in top shape. I have posted some of the items I found in the room that although could be considered as being picky, when you pay over $400 a night, should not be found. When I reported them to the hotel staff, nothing was done. One of the paintings had a cut in it. One of the power outlets was busted, there were stains on the wall paper as well as the wood on the desk being cracked in some spots and the sink faucet would splatter all over the place. The view from the room, how big it was, the location of the hotel and how clean the common areas and property was, made up for the little picky items that I have reported. I would still stay at the same hotel but next time I don't need the Grand Canal view (price) as I have already experienced that.
