Solo EDventure..
Professional courtesy staff, from housekeeping, food service and especially front desk!, Very helpful and recommended places to go and see. The neighborhood wasn't what I expected, walking didtance to train station(5-7mins) to branch out everywhere else. Outstanding services, especially when I had a fall accident, caring for well-being. I would definitely stay again! Thank you#203, San Diego 😎

Great hotel
The over all condition of the hotel was great, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel was not the greatest, but it is close to the train and shops around to get a meal. Ps loved the balcony not the view.

Hidden in plain sight . . . .
This hotel is a throwback to another era when service, courtesy, friendliness and details counted in a hotel. Sure, the neighborhood has changed around it but Centrotel has held on and thrived by practicing the time-honored standards of the hospitality business. The first thing that sets Centrotel apart is that they have a clean, safe and secure parking garage which is free for guests! In a city like Athens this is with its weight in gold. Our room, 404, had a roomy balcony and jetted tub along with plenty of electrical outlets. The bathroom had more countertop space and storage than we almost ever seen in a hotel bathroom. Towels are especially absorbent. The room itself also has a safe and plenty of storage for hanging and folded clothes. When we lay down our first night we realized that the ceiling above the bed had a panel with color-shifting LEDs that resemble stars overhead! Plus the bed was an actual double – not the two pushed-together twins that one often encounters in Greek hotels. We would be hard pressed to find anything that the management of this cute hotel has overlooked. Even the breakfast buffet is satisfying and is offered until the unheard of time of 10:30 am. The neighborhood is a diverse, international one with people from all walks of life. Nevertheless, this was not a concern while we walked around during reasonable hours. There are even a dry cleaners, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants of all types closeby.

Great hotel, the staff are really nice, breakfast was good but the bed was very uncomfortable, also the area isn’t the safest but only two train stops from the Acropolis!

Unsafe Area
The are that the hotel was in, Victoria, seemed really unsafe and made us feel uncomfortable so we only ended up staying one night. The bed was awful to sleep on as well. The hotel is pretty and clean but we didn’t feel safe so had to leave.
