Exceptional 10.0
Wonderful!!
What a wonderful surprise this property was! I spent the final night of a three week driving tour of Northern Scotland at Fairfield House in Ayr. My large, comfortable room looked out over the sea, there was a nice gym with sauna and pool and the staff were friendly, polite and exceptionally professional. The restaurant was also excellent. The hotel had history, cool and comfort throughout and was very affordable in relation to the quality of experience. Everything about my experience was a pleasure and a perfect final night in Scotland. I look forward to returning for a longer stay - in no small due to this wonderful hotel! I highly recommend the Fairfield House to any traveller in Scotland!

Quick on the day booking, happy customers
We stayed in room 25 the family room over in the courtyard and the room was MASSIVE!! 2 rooms infact with the biggest tv we have ever seen. Room was comfortable perhaps a bit cold though. Restaurant great food and breakfast was delicious. Didn’t use the pool facilities whilst we stayed

Very Good 8.0
Hotel was pleasant enough but there was a T-shirt left on the radiator. Room was spacious and nice enough but furniture was a little dated and worn

Exceptional 10.0
Hotel was great, only flaw was the noise the cleaners made outside our door at 6am each morning, throwing bags of towels & bed linen against the walls of our room (no. 43) would have given 5 stars if not for this, maybe something management could take on board 😊

Baby innes first visit to ayr
We have stayed st Fairfield a number of times as the location is so good. The house keeping staff and restaurant staff at dinner very friendly .The downside was 2 receptionist were not very friendly at all .They never really smiled or offered to help as we had a baby with a pram and suitcases. House keeping staff however helped when they seen us struggling .
