The hotel was gorgeous & the rooms were awesome, the staff on the other hand...do they get any sort of training on social skills or actually, does management hire people with communication or customer service skills? 1) I complimented the bartender on how her outfit was cute with suspenders & didn't say anything but gave me a dirty look. 2) it was our anniversary weekend & we had friends buy wine & berries sent up to our room. As we were checking out, they tried to make me pay for it (even though it was already paid for), and then continued to show us how much our friends paid for our gift/surprise. How is that even ok? Our friends probably didn't want us seeing that. 3) they took away public parking & force people to valet for $32 per night. I threw a fit & got it comped for one night & then they told us we could move our car to the ASU parking garage, which is fine, maybe don't force people to pay for parking. Like I said, hotel was gorgeous...staff was needing a little training.
