Stunning B&B in a stunning location
Amazing to be back in criccieth for the first time since I was 15 and my nan gave up her caravan in the same small town about 17 years ago after my granddad passed away. Brought back so many special memories and I'm not ashamed to say I shed a tear or two. We only went for the day and I couldn't bring myself to leave even before we had reached criccieth so got on the net and booked a room while the Mrs played with her nipper on black rock sands beach (not the easiest place to find but 100% worth it, turn left off the road between Porthmadog and criccieth literally just before the train bridge that passes over the road) I could not have picked a better place to book. The staff, the food, the rooms all absolutely faultless and the view....well I was speechless, even better than I remembered as a young lad. One thing that hasn't changed from my memory though is just how peaceful the place is (outside school holidays). Anytime I've ever been asked "if you could be anywhere where would you be?" Well my answer will always be criccieth. The Mrs absolutely adores the place now and is looking at booking up for a few days next month so will be staying at glyn-Y-coed again without a doubt.

Lovely place
We were given the annexe at the back, which was completely separate and private from the main building. We loved it. Just need a brolly to go and get your breakfast if it's raining.

Stayed with family 2 nights in June. Generally well appointed twin rooms that were very clean. Breakfast is a set time and over by 9:15.It is included and very well cooked. There is an honor bar which was a nice addition and a beautiful lounge and garden with stunning views. Close to beach and town. In general a very nice stay although a little expensive for a B&B. stayed at a beautiful hotel on the front in Llandudno for much less.
