Exceptional 10.0
Nice hotel
staff was nice willing to step in to help with any questions we have especially the elevator. It’s a little confusing but once you get the hang of it you will be fine. House keeping is on point clean our room fast and neat. Super friendly always greet you with a smile. Would definitely stay there again.Great location for downtown LA.

Exceptional 10.0
Excellent DTLA hotel.
First stay in DTLA and picked this hotel randomly based on location to Dodger stadium and it didn’t disappoint. Was given an upgrade while checking in early was a great start and it got even better from there. The views were amazing and the staff from check in to the concierge to housekeeping were beyond amazing. The hotel we learned is only 2 years old very modern and incredibly clean. The pool was amazing and never too crowded even over a busy weekend. Will definitely stay here during future trips to LA.

Fair 4.0
Great hotel, but wild party zone on the weekend...
A great place to stay for business during the work week, but a major party zone on the weekends. The staff was kind and helpful, but could not control the influx and activities of the party types who just wanted to drink and let loose. It was a bit surprising to see this weekend behavior at this up-scale hotel, yet downtown is now known for this. The pool is on the small side, with few chases and amenities. Fitness area is top. City views and bar in the lobby are spectacular.

Exceptional 10.0
Exceptional hotel experience.
I could go on for a while about everything that is great about this hotel, so let's just say that the hotel is exceptional in every way, and it deserves all the awards it has won. The only small complaint I can come up with, and this is nitpicking, was the parking experience: the facility underneath the hotel building is not run by the hotel and it is a mess. They kept making us re-register every time we took out the car causing delays, and they messed up our payment when leaving, resulting in a long call with reception and a long line of angry customers behind us. Feels like they keep their records on paper notes, in a hotel that everything is automated, from the elevators to the bedside lights.

Very Good 8.0
Great views and amenities, poor technology
The hotel itself is very nice and is located across the street from a mall and walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel itself though, while very clean, is overly complicated and sometimes frustrating. To check in, you take the elevator to the 70th floor. Then you take a separate elevator back down to your room. When you want to leave? Elevator up to the 70th and another back down to the main floor. Have a car in valet? Once at the main floor take yet another elevator (or escalator) down to car pickup. The elevators themselves are also overly complicated. You have to enter your floor on a touch screen and wait for it to assign you an elevator. There are no buttons for floors in the elevators so if you get on the wrong one or input the floor wrong, you're going for the ride and will have to retry once you stop somewhere. This can happen more often than you imagine since the touch screens used outside the elevators feel like the super old palm pilots from yesteryear. They are not very responsive and often double-tap a number you pressed on once, or completely ignores a tap. We also had an issue where 2 of our room keys became demagnetized after a day in our pockets (one loose, the other in a wallet), so needed guest services to come up and let us in. Then, later that night we had to go all the way back up to 70 to get new keys. All that said, the amenities were nice, service was great and the rooms were very clean. The views were also amazing.
