Very Good 8.0
Interesting hotel and blasé service.
Unique property with lots of history. Our room was big with a comfy bed. However, the room faced the street could have had better sound proofing - I woke up at 2am every during garbage collection, even with earplugs. Some staff was welcoming others seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered. I needed help getting a taxi for my mother with mobility needs and the women at reception was not willing to call one for us so I had to walk to a busy intersection down the block to hail one.

Good 6.0
Poorly maintained
The hotel is located in a great area right by Plaza Mayor. The service was okay, but not outstanding. I can see how it was intended as "boutique" but has not been well-maintained. The coffee table was broken, the armchair was ripped and the stuffing was coming out. There were leftover empty bottles of Jack Daniels from a previous inhabitant, and the floor, though dry, was covered in a soapy substance which foamed when we walked on the floor after a shower. Overall- felt used and kinda gross and I would not stay here again, nor recommend it to others.

Noisy but Nice
Nice hotel but noisy at night.

Firstly, this is a 3 star hotel, not a 4 start hotel as advertised. There is a clear 3 stars outside their doorway. I feel this is false advertising. Secondly, I stayed in a room that didn't have a window to the outside. I had a window that opened into an indoor space that overlooked the restaurant, resulting in an echoing of every dining sound entering my room. It was extremely noise. I have never in my life stayed in a room that didn't have a window to the outside. I imagine the other rooms are better and that is why there have been decent reviews but if you are unlucky to get the room I was in, you will have an very unhappy stay. On my second day they offered to refund my money but with 2 days left, I didn't want to go searching for a new hotel. Overall, I'm pretty disgusted with this experience.
