Perfect for Three Days in Olinda
While there are other pousadas in the center of Olinda, the Pousada Baobá is ideally situated because it's not in the middle of everything (especially during the run-up to Carnaval season, when the center can be crowded and noisy). The feeling was one of local hospitality - no one spoke English but they were as lovely as could be. The pool was small but a nice addition, and the decor was pretty and welcoming. It felt like home. The room was small, but comfortable, and Wi-Fi was excellent. There was a typical breakfast available every day, making the cost per night very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Olinda - or Recife for that matter (the bus into the city is a 2-minute walk from the Pousada).
