Condor Hotel, Brooklyn
Helpful staff, comfortable room
Our flight out o JFK was canceled late at night and we needed somewhere to stay. Condor is not that close to the airport, but was the only place available. It turned out to be a lovely place with helpful, friendly staff. They let us check out late since our flight was rebooked for 9:00 pm the next evening.Neighborhood is NOT Williamsburg, at least not the “cool” part. Anyway, it was a comfortable, relaxing place to stay after our airport trouble.

Non convenient for walking but nice staff.
Not much within walking distance. Bed is conformable, nice to have a refrigerator in the room. No room service, no hotel bar, no restaurant. Elevator wasn't working one day, then the vending machine didn't work the next. The staff is very friendly and accommodating though.

Very cold
Stayed overnight, the room was very cold. Could not get more than 62F, heating/AC went on full power whole night. Never coming again.

Wonderful service, TERRIBLE everything else!
The quality and friendliness of the service personnel at this hotel was the best part of our stay. However, the facilities were atrocious. The elevator worked for only part of one day of our 3-day stay. The furniture looks like it was bought at a fraternity house. The heater was incredibly loud and rattled so badly (in both rooms) that we couldn't sleep or watch TV when they were on. The neighborhood is dirty and noisy. Driving into this neighborhood will make you want to scream!

nice but isolated
the hotel itself was nice with pkeasant staff but it was too long a walk to nearest subway and few shops or fining spots in the neighborhood
