Cedar Villa Guest House - B&B, Inverness
Bad news place
We were assured wi-fi in room, but it was not available in the room assigned to us. We were then assured it was available in another room which would cost 20 L per day. Since WI-FI was critical for our business, we agreed. It was NOT working, and we were unable to conduct critical business communications. Since we only agreed to pay more for the WI-FI, it seemed we should at least receive a discount, which was hysterically denied. We were cheated and badly treated,

Convenient, great service, but a bit dated
Accommodating B&B with generous, gracious hosts. Located conveniently close to the city center, restaurants/pubs, shopping and a Tesco, etc. However, my room overlooked the street, which was something of a major thoroughfare, and sleeping with the window open meant hearing cars go by periodically all night. The rooms were in decent condition; the twin bed was very soft and felt worn. In addition, the bathroom for the room which I booked (the single, twin bed room) is actually across the hall, not en suite. All things considered, it was a good deal, and I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Homey Stay in Inverness
The location of this B&B was within walking distance to the Inverness City Center. Frank was a very friendly host and was very accommodating. Parking was a bit of a problem. They don't provide a parking space, but there are permit required spaces within the block. However you need to move your car from these permit spaces before 8:00 a.m.and park in a nearby shopping area. We were leaving early anyway, but this could be a problem for sleep ins. The rooms were comfortable and a bit worn, but that was some of the charm. The breakfast was delicious and available when we sat down.

Wonderful breakfast but very small room.
Very nice hosts. Wonderful breakfast. Room was tight for a 2 night stay. Very small shared toilet and shower. Shower didn't work 2nd day had to go to another floor and use their shower.
