The worst place we’ve stayed, this property is very old it really needs an upgrade. Beds were hard and old, the coils pone your back, restrooms are very slippery and always wet, we didn’t know where the water came from. Very disappointed of this place, the pictures didn’t match the actual hotel.

Very noisy….
Nice hotel and a good location but if peace and quiet is what you’re after then this hotel is NOT for you. Housekeeping are extremely loud and start cleaning rooms and banging around - even dragging beds across the stone floor at 8am… after asking them to be quiet they continue to chat extremely loudly right outside the room which is extremely unfair. Our room was also right underneath the restaurant so ask for a room away from that end of the hotel on the ground floor.

Not as good as they think they are
A typical old fashioned attitude 3* hotel that thinks it’s a 5* with the service attitude of a 1*. I booked last minute so didn’t have much choice but I’d think there is much better at the same price point. The rude staff (other than the breakfast staff) really let the hotel down, really quite arrogant, I actually watched a receptionist hide behind his pc screen so he didn’t have to help a group of 10 elderly visitors, I asked him why he wouldn’t help them and his only response was a shrug and a ‘it’s not my job to cover the other staff members dinner break”.. the break was 20 minutes! The hotel was clean enough, the scrambled egg looked like vomit. The bar area and restaurant had no atmosphere. I’d go elsewhere if I was to visit Rome again.
