    I would go back!

We stayed here for a long weekend in the great City of Brugge. The hotel location is perfect it is realistically a 15 minute walk to the train station but you are no more then a 5-10 minute walk from the most popular areas. For those who are not aware Brugge is a walking/ biking spot. Car travel isn't worth it in the city center areas. For our trip we checked and were greeted with a good summary of the areas. From there we parked our car at the train station for under 4 euro a day and walked back to the hotel through the city. At the conclusion of our trip we took a taxi to our car from the hotel for 7 euro. Our hotel stay was great. The room we had was actually a good size for Europe. Our only complaint was the bed, this complaint is not just for this hotel but decent bedding in Europe is hard to find. This bed was more comfortable (not as stiff) than most but still left us sore by the end of the weekend. Even with the bed we would stay here again! One thing we enjoyed about this hotel was the ability to open the windows all the way up. At night it provided a good temp in the room with the ceiling fan on. There is no AC here so as temps rise be mindful of this. To be more specific of our room #305 it was oddly but awesomely arranged. It basically has a bedroom then a hallway attaching the bedroom from the entry door. Along the hallway there are three separated rooms. Toilet, shower, and tub/sink. For sharing this room was great!

Everything was perfect. Weather was nice and cool on May 2nd, so the window was kept open for that nice fresh air. Front desk staff was super helpful with pointing out Bruges points of interest on a map. Everything was clean and sanitary in the hotel room. Only thing I would change is having a digital card lock on the doors to allow multiple keys for multiple room guests to be able to come and go as they please. Currently, they allow for one traditional key.

    Terrible 8pm check in policy

Couldn’t get in at 8:03pm, staff had already gone home leaving me stranded in the night . Also, if nobody can let you in after 8:00pm, how would you get out? Didn’t see a key fob or another way to access the building. What if there is a fire, how do you get out? What if you checked in but stayed out after 8pm?

Although only minutes from the heart of Brugge this hotel is in a quieter area, and being adults only feels rather exclusive. The rooms are great, all you need is provided, fantastic beds and all mod cons. Breakfast is included with fresh bread rolls, a Belgian must at breakfast time or in Flemish ‘Pistolets’. The smell from which radiates as you go into the hallway in the mornings, Lovely! We really enjoyed our stay and the owners are so helpful.
